REGISTRATION AND CREATION OF A SITE

  1. What data do I have to enter when I create a trial site?
  2. When you create a trial site you must enter:  name and description of the site, temporary URL (e.g. yourname.sitewith.us). Then you have to select a template, a username and a password, a valid  e-mail,  name and last name.  All these details can subsequently be changed if you want, with the exception of the third level temporary URL.

  3. When I create a site, do I have to enter an existing e-mail address?
  4. Yes.  It is important that you enter a valid e-mail address and that you check your mail frequently, because we will send all the news and updates regarding your site there.   You can always change the address if you want, by accessing the “Account Data” section on the Control Panel.

  5. I am creating a new trial site but the system will not accept the username and temporary URL.
  6. The username and temporary URL you are trying to enter may already be in use, or  you might have already entered those data during a previous registration with us.  To be able to create a site, you must enter a login and an URL (yourname.sitewith.us)  that has not been chosen by another user.

  7. How many sites can I create with my usership?
  8. With a single usership (one username and one password)  you can create and purchase all the sites you want.  However, only one trial site may be active at the same time.

  9. May I ask for my site to be moved to another usership?
  10. No. When you create/purchase a site with a certain user  you cannot ask to move it to another account.

  11. May I ask for a second username and password to access the same account and control panel?
  12. No. Both the login and password are unique. You can, however, change them anytime from the control panel, by clicking on the “Change Password” section.

CONTRACTS AND INVOICING

  1. Can I purchase a site if I do not have VAT registration?
  2. Yes, private individuals can purchase our packages. You do not necessarily have to be a company or have VAT registration to access the services offered by Sitewith.us.

  3. If I purchase a Sitewith.us package, are there any other costs involved other than the price i pay while i purchase a subscription?
  4. Sitewith.us packages are all-inclusive, therefore your subscription includes (in addition to the creation of the site, a domain, an e-mail account etc.) access to our platform.   5. The price appearing on the “confirming my purchase” section of the site is higher than the price shown in the purchase preview page.  Is there a mistake?
  6. Prices appearing in the Sitewith.us price-list and in the preview of package cost do not include VAT charges (as rightly indicated by the wording “+ VAT”, beside each price). You should therefore add 20% to your purchasing price to know the real cost of the package (e.g.  €119.00 + 20%  €142.80) .

  7. What is the duration of a Sitewith.us contract?
  8. On the purchase page there is a section dedicated to contract duration.  Use the drop-down menu to choose between the 6 or the 12 months subscription.

  9. Is it cheaper to subscribe to a 6 or to a 12 months package?
  10. All other things being equal, the longer the duration of the subscription lasts, the higher the saving on the purchase price is. A 12 months package is more convenient than a 6 months one.

  11. Can I pay by monthly instalments?
  12. No. Payments for the service must be made entirely while you purchase the site.

  13. I am unable to make payment because after clicking on “Continue”, the same page remains displayed.
  14. Check, by scrolling to the end of the page, that all obligatory invoicing data fields have been correctly filled. All incorrect or missing fields will be highlighted in red.

  15. Can I create a site in my name and give the invoicing data of another person/company?
  16. Yes.  Invoicing data do not necessarily have to coincide with those of the user who created the site.

  17. Where are the details to make a bank transfer and the fax number or e-mail address to which I should send proof of payment?
  18. If you have opted to pay by bank transfer, a message will appear on your Control Panel notifying you that we are awaiting the receipt of your payment.  Click on “Info” and you will receive the necessary details to make the transfer (IBAN, grounds for payment [obligatory], amount, etc.) as well as the fax number or mail address to which you should forward the receipt to.

  19. What if I need an invoice for my purchase. How can i get it?
  20. Invoices are issued within 15 days of payment and will be sent in pdf. format to your e-mail address.  They can be viewed at any time by accessing the “Invoices” section on your Control Panel.

  21. What is the €50 bonus you have out when a customer purchases a site?
  22. It’s a €50 bonus for Google AdWords. For all information on the service, terms and conditions, please consult our dedicate page.

  23. I already have my own domain so how much will the package cost?
  24. Sitewith.us packages are all-inclusive and therefore it is impossible to single out the prices of  the various  services from the final cost.  The purchase price of all our packages includes the possibility to ask for registration of a new second level domain  (e.g. www.yourname.com) or transferring a domain you already own by associating it with the site created with Sitewith.us.

  25. I have created a trial site and do not want to purchase the package.  How do I withdraw from the service?
  26. At the end of the 10 day trial you have a further 30 days when the site will remain on-line with all the contents you entered.  You can access the Control Panel at any time and proceed with the purchase if you want. When the 30 days have expired your site will be permanently deleted.  The account though will remain active and you can proceed with a new free trial.

SUPPORT

  1. How do I ask for a Live Chat with an operator?
  2. The Professional and Premium packages offer the possibility to receive personalized assistance for your site, through Live Chat, with one of our operators. To request this service, access the Site Panel (Contents Management) and click the “Live Chat” button located on the top right corner of the page.

  3. Where can I ask for help?
  4. To solve any problem regarding the use of Sitewith.us, you can look for some solutions in these FAQs or ask for help through ticketing or “Live Chat” (available for Professional and Premium clients).  In addition, you can read anytime our Help Guide, where you will find a detailed explanation of all sections comprising the Sitewith.us service.

  5. Do you have a telephone number I can call for help?
  6. Sitewith.us has a Toll-free number which can be used for commercial information only.  You will find the number on our site’s home page. For all the other types of assistance (technical, administrative, regarding domains, etc…) we provide assistance via e-mail or Live Chat, depending on the type of package you have purchased.

  7. I have written several e-mails to you but I have never received a reply.
  8. Replies to queries sent through your Control Panel (Do you need help?  –> contact the staff) are automatically forwarded to you at the e-mail address given at the time of creating the site, or changed later through the “Account Data” link.    We therefore invite you to access the Control Panel and click on “Account Data”, to ensure that the e-mail address is exact.

RENEWALS AND UPGRADES

  1. What does it mean when you send me a message stating that my “site will be obscured and publication suspended”?
  2. This message appears on your Control Panel when you exceed one of the following package parameters: disc space, monthly traffic, band or maximum number of visits.
    When you exceed one of those limits your site cannot be visible online until the beginning of the following month or until you purchase a higher level package.   An obscured site is covered by a semi-transparent dark film with the wording “Site being updated” . Visitors can no longer enter and navigate your site.

  3. When I exceed my disc space limitation, do i have tu upgrade my package to view my site?
  4. No, upgrading to a higher package is not the only possible solution.
    You can in fact publish your site if you delete a few files and restore you disc space within the limits.

  5. How much does an upgrade cost?
  6. To verify the cost of an upgrade, go to your site’s Control Panel and click the “Upgrade” button.  Then select the package you wish to purchase and the duration of the contract.

    The “Upgrade price” box, located on the top left corner, will display the cost of the upgrade.

  7. How much is it going to cost me the renewal of the site?
  8. The package price will be assessed on the basis of the price list at the time of renewal.
    Usually clients who decide to renew their subscriptions are given a promotional code, a discount for the site. We cannot guarantee that prices will remain static through time: however Sitewith.us has grown considerably since we started and the services included in all the packages have increased, with no extra costs for our customers.

  9. May I renew my subscription before it expires?
  10. You can renew your contract at any time during the subscription period, by accessing the Control Panel and clicking the “Renewal” button.

  11. My site expired in September and I renewed it in October. Why is m subscription for 11 months instead of 12, considering that my site was not visible and could not be edited?
  12. During the month our system and resources (disc space, band, domain, etc.) were kept occupied with the contents of your site.  Thus, just as domains cannot be temporarily suspended and renewed at a later date, the same applies for our packages.

  13. How should I let you know that i don’t want to renew the contact (fax, registered letter, etc…)?
  14. Our service does not include an automatic renewal, therefore it is not necessary to forward a fax or registered letter.  Simply avoid requesting renewal in the Control Panel.

VARIOUS

  1. Will the site appear automatically in search engines?
  2. Once you purchased your site, it will be placed in our directory which is regularly scanned by some of the major search engines.  Within a few weeks the search engines will visit the site and collect all the necessary information to include it among its results.

  3. Since we are a Service Provider so we already have our own servers.  Can we use only the creation’s service?
  4. Sitewith.us packages are all-inclusive and therefore your subscription also includes (in addition to site creation, domain, e-mail accounts etc.)  access to our platform, necessary to update, modify and manage your site.

  5. Can I create an e-commerce site with Sithwit.us?
  6. Il you want to build an e-commerce site, we usually advise our clients to integrate their site with the Paypal payments system.  It complies with all electronic marketing regulations.

  7. Can I become a Sitewith.us vendor, even if I do not have VAT registration?
  8. There are two ways to sell our services: Multiple Discount and Service Resale with commission. Only in the second case a VAT registration is compulsory.  For further information see the “Become a Vendor” section in our site. There you will find all the details to sell our services or purchase more than one Sitewith.us service.

  9. Is it possible to create a newsletter?
  10. At the moment we do not offer a newsletter service to forward to your clients.
