Javascript: It is a scripting language.  It is used  to create and integrate what cannot be created with the HTML language alone, such as for  simple animations or menus.

If you are not ax expert in websites’ creation, you should limit the use of Javascript or even avoid using it altogether.  Javascript very often limits accessibility and usability of a website by confusing users.
