To make you site known, you must apply to the search engines.

Attention:  Once your site has been created, it does not automatically appear among search engine results.  To make your site appear in Google and other search engines, you should notify the various engines and request listing.  They will decide autonomously if and in what position it should be listed  This practice is known as “indexing”.

You must indicate the address (URL) of your site (e.g.. http://sitename .sitewith.us) giving a brief description of the site.  You can also specify the other pages of your site.

Following this request, it will take between 15 – 30 days for the site to appear on-line,  there is, however, no guarantee that Google will list it, nor of its position in the list nor with which words it will be traceable.  Google, in fact, lists only what are considered to be the most important sites.   For a site to be considered important it must have contents (mainly texts).  We therefore advise you to complete your site and create pages of contents before requesting listing.  Moreover, listing will be easier to obtain if your site has links to other sites which expand on themes you deal with and if your site is pointed to by other sites.

To facilitate indexing of its sites in search engines, Sitewith.us adopts many optimization techniques for created sites.  For example “descriptive” URLs  for the pages of your site (e.g. http://yoursite.sitewith.us/whoweare), a semantically structured HTML code  (for example, titles are formatted with tag headings) and a META section (edit site –> change HTML –> META) which allows your site’s meta tags to be edited or changed.

a) advertising campaigns on engines where your site will appear based on keywords in the sponsored results column.

b) indexing services in various search engines

c) site optimization services offered by external firms to improve indexing by engines (position in the results).  In this case a better position is NOT bought by paying the engines (they sell publicity  NOT positions), but the site is made more “inviting” to the engines, because the optimization services are aware of the indexing criteria adopted.

Otherwise you can apply to companies like Dada which offer professional indexing services and “guarantee”  that your site will appear in the major search engines with a series of keywords.
