In this section you can change the information regarding your site and set advanced functions.
To access the settings, enter the Site panel, press “Edit website”and then “Settings” on top of the page.
The following items can be modified from there: multi-language settings, header settings, site information, utilities, SEO settings and block changes.
1. Multi-language settings: this function enables you to select the default language for the site and select a maximum of three others to create parallel sites in other languages.
Some of the main options can be managed only with the selected default language, as for example, site settings and templates.
For each language you can edit the title and description of the site, but the graphics must remain identical for all.
2. Use the header settings to manage the title (maximum 30 characters) and the description (maximum 90 characters).
This field can be personalized for each language.
- Under site information you can select your category and relative sub-categories and your province.
- Utilities include the choice of activating or not: viral tools home page counter and print page.
Viral tools are “Add to favourites” and “Send to a friend” links.
The HP Countercounts in the home page the number of pages seen, where pages seen means when a page is completely downloaded.
Both the viral tools and the counter are displayed only at the bottom of the home page.
The Print page link, if activated, is displayed at the top right of standard type pages and on the “further information” pages of advanced pages.
In the Utilities you can also select date format which is always displayed at the bottom of the home page. - SEO settings include a link to the “Edit Meta Tags” section and your site’s sitemap URL.
- Lastly, by activating Block changes you can inhibit Edit html and css, template and colour change function.
